Scott Terry founded Tempus Jets' after 22 years of experience in government and corporate aviation. A former Naval aviator, Mr. Terry has a strong track record of success while holding executive positions at Merrill Lynch & Co., Flight International, Inc., and Bombardier Aerospace. Mr. Terry has an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Boston University. He also completed a postgraduate study program in International Law from the University of London and was admitted as a Ph.D. candidate in Finance and Trade at City University Business School in London, prior to returning to the United States to continue his career in aviation.
Jack Gulbin is a corporate finance professional and CPA who provides oversight for all accounting and financial aspects of Tempus Jets. After graduating from St. Bonaventure University, Mr. Gulbin began his career as an auditor with Deloitte before moving into a project finance role with GE Capital. Mr. Gulbin completed numerous power plant financings before transitioning to aerospace projects. Mr. Gulbin later became a Senior Vice President in charge of Aircraft Finance for Lehman Brothers, Inc., where he successfully completed more than $4 billion in aircraft securitizations.
Beverly Castonguay has over 15 years of experience in business management and administration. Prior to joining Tempus Jets, Mrs. Castonguay held senior management roles with companies in the commercial and government sectors. At Tempus Jets, she is responsible for all contract creation, negotiation and administration. She also serves as the office administrator and oversees human resources and office operations. Mrs. Castonguay is a graduate of Christopher Newport University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Mr. Josh Allen oversees the charter services division while establishing strong relationships with charter customers that are key to the company’s continued growth. Prior to joining Tempus Jets, Mr. Allen worked for two of the leading charter and management companies in the Southwest and has consulted a number of private aviation service companies. Mr. Allen has held key roles in each company and has provided executive charter on nearly every type of aircraft ranging from the Hawker 400XP, Citation X, Global Express, Boeing 757, and many others. During his career, Mr. Allen has been fortunate to work with leading businessmen and women, athletes, celebrities, and movie studios.
Mr. Allen studied Aviation Management at the University of Oklahoma and Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Mr. Dynan is a 30 year veteran of the aerospace industry with extensive experience in private, commercial and government aviation. A graduate of the University of Auburn and the Harvard Business School, Mr. Dynan spent the early stages of career in various operations management positions at US Airways. After a tenure as President of a commercial cargo airline, he successfully managed an integrated defense contracting company that operated a fleet of heavily modified Learjets. Mr. Dynan has been a member of the Tempus Jets team since it was formed in December 2007.
Bob Lake is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience in domestic and international flight operations. As former Chief Pilot and Operations Manager for a Fortune 10 company with more than 20 business jets, Mr. Lake brings significant management skills to Tempus Jets, where he oversees worldwide flight operations. Mr. Lake has accumulated more than 4,000 flight hours in large business jets and thousands more in light jets and helicopters. He started his career in aviation with the Delaware State Police, where he retired after 20 years of service before transitioning into corporate aviation.
Mr. Ryan Horst has been a licensed Aviation Insurance Broker for the past 10 years. In October 2009, he co-founded Alpha Risk Management, LLC with Orion Air Group Holdings, LLC in order to establish an insurance brokerage based on the Midwestern values he believes in. Customer-focused advocacy is his priority. He takes pride in working as a business partner to his clients and he strives to create the best insurance program at the best possible pricing for each and every client.
On a national level, he is an active supporter of the (AIA) Aviation Insurance Association, (NBAA) National Business Aviation Association & (NATA) National Air Transportation Association. On a local level, Mr. Horst was the President of the (AZBAA) Arizona Business Aviation Association from 2008-2009. He has helped raise thousands of dollars for students wishing to pursue a career into the Aviation field. Mr. Horst graduated from the University of Nebraska.
One of the most accomplished professional auto racers of his generation, Mr. Danny Sullivan also has a significant record of success in business. He won the Indianapolis 500—as well as 11 other Indy Car races—as part of Team Penske, establishing himself as a champion on the track. Acting as a Senior Advisor at Tempus Jets, Mr. Sullivan provides the same determination and focus to our business as he did in racing, bringing Tempus Jets the competitive edge to be a champion in the corporate aviation industry. Mr. Sullivan’s experience beyond racing includes various business relationships with Lexus, ABC/ESPN, CBS, Red Bull, Acura, and Toyota.
