Scott Terry founded Tempus after 22 years of experience in government and corporate aviation. A former Naval aviator, Mr. Terry has a strong track record of success while holding executive positions at Merrill Lynch & Co., Flight International, Inc., and Bombardier Aerospace. He has an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Boston University. Additionally, he completed a postgraduate study program in International Law from the University of London. Prior to returning to the United States to continue his career in aviation, Mr. Terry was admitted as a Ph.D. candidate in Finance and Trade at City University Business School in London.
Jack Gulbin is a corporate finance professional and CPA who provides oversight for all accounting and financial aspects of Tempus. Mr. Gulbin began his career as an auditor with Deloitte before moving into a project finance role with GE Capital. Before transitioning to aerospace projects, he completed numerous power plant financings. Mr. Gulbin later became a Senior Vice President of Aircraft Finance for Lehman Brothers, Inc., where he successfully completed more than $4 billion in aircraft securitizations. He is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University.
Sheldon Early brings more than 30 years of diversified corporate aviation experience to Tempus, where his primary responsibility is to establish and maintain client relationships. Mr. Early has demonstrated the ability to successfully build businesses throughout his career by providing an unprecedented level of focus on customer service. Prior to joining Tempus, he founded and presided over Early Technologies and Services, Inc., an aviation consulting company specializing in the corporate and government aviation markets. Mr. Early also previously served as the Vice President of Marketing and Government Programs at one of the largest Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) organizations in the United States-Stevens Aviation in Greenville, South Carolina-where he led the company's successful entry into the government contracting business. Mr. Early holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern University.
Robert OliverChief Operating Officer
Robert Oliver has more than thirty years of experience in aviation management serving as the Chief Pilot, Director of Operations, Chief Operating Officer, and President of several FAA Part 135 and Part 91 companies and flight departments. At Tempus, Mr. Oliver is responsible for the oversight and management of day to day operations in addition to developing new business opportunities in the Asian aircraft market. Mr. Oliver previously served as a U.S. Marine Corps aviator and holds an FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with ratings in nine models of corporate jets and is licensed to fly helicopters with instrument privileges. Before joining the Tempus team, Mr. Oliver was the COO for a leading West Coast based Part 135 jet aircraft management and charter company. Mr. Oliver is a graduate of Pepperdine University with a BA in Psychology and a MS in Special Education.
Steve WaltonChief Operating Officer - Technical Services
Steve Walton is a well-established authority in the commercial aircraft engineering and modification industry. As an FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER), Mr. Walton has successfully delivered numerous complex engineering projects to include commercial wide body aircraft programs involving most Boeing and Airbus products up to the Boeing 747 and Airbus 340. Formerly the CEO and Founder of Baysys Technologies and the VP of Engineering for DeCrane-PATS, he has more than 20 years experience in managing and delivering to customer satisfaction on a global scale and is considered one of the top professionals in his field.
Beverly CastonguayExecutive Vice President, Administration
Beverly Castonguay has over 15 years of experience in business management and administration. Prior to joining Tempus, she held senior management roles with companies in both the commercial and government sectors. At Tempus, Mrs. Castonguay is responsible for all contract creation, negotiation and administration. She also serves as the company's office administrator, overseeing human resources and office operations. Mrs. Castonguay has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University.
Markus EbertVice-President, Legal and Business Development
Markus Ebert is a corporate finance attorney with over 15 years of legal and business experience. Prior to joining Tempus, he was General Counsel and VP of Corporate Finance for an aerospace company, and also worked with several prominent international law firms in London, Washington, DC and Chicago. His private practice experience includes a wide range of transactions (e.g., project finance, structured finance and syndicated finance) and industries (e.g., aviation, oil and gas, banking and health care) with each transaction ranging in size from $20 million to $3 billion. Mr. Ebert's role at Tempus Jets is to advise senior management on a broad range of legal and strategic planning issues impacting the organization, acquisition strategies and the raising of capital for long-term growth and expansion. Mr. Ebert also assists in the development of feasibility studies, sales and marketing plans, financial projections for domestic and international operations, and the development, review and presentation of bid proposals for VIP aircraft completions. Mr. Ebert obtained a law degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Laws degree from Boston University.
Herbert KnightVice President, Customer Relations
Herb Knight has over 25 years of extensive knowledge and understanding of the operational and economic aspects of business aircraft management. He provides a unique perspective and exceptional collection of benefits to Tempus clients. His efforts have led to the sale or acquisition of aircraft for clients on five continents. Mr. Knight has built a reputation for delivering superior value to aircraft owners, purchasers, and sellers while continually looking out for his clients' best interests. Prior to joining Tempus, he spent more than 22 years with Gamma Aviation and its predecessors, PrivatAir and Flight Services group. Serving as a Sr. Vice President at Gamma Aviation, Mr. Knight led successful comprehensive delivery management programs overseeing acceptance of new aircraft from Gulfstream, Bombardier and Cessna. He has an undergraduate degree in finance from Quinnipiac College and currently serves on the finance committee for the National Aircraft Resale Association.
Kristen LoganVice President, Marketing
Kristen Logan has extensive experience in managing corporate, promotional, charity and marketing events. Prior to joining Tempus in 2010, Mrs. Logan worked as a Sales Representatives for SATSair, LLC, where she successfully developed new sales strategies and promotions. She also previously worked as a Marketing and Campaign Associate for United Way of Pickens County. As the Vice President of Marketing, Mrs. Logan is primarily responsible for creating, implementing and supervising the execution of all Tempus marketing campaigns and events. She also manages the company's websites and social media outlets. Mrs. Logan has an undergraduate degree in Marketing from Clemson University.
Joshua AllenPresident, Tempus Flight Solutions
Joshua Allen oversees the charter services division while establishing strong relationships with charter customers that are vital to the company's growth. Prior to joining Tempus, Mr. Allen worked for two of the leading charter and management companies in the Southwest and has consulted a number of private aviation service companies. Mr. Allen has held key roles in each company and has provided executive charter on nearly every type of aircraft: the Hawker 400XP, Citation X, Global Express, Boeing 757 and many others. Throughout his career, Mr. Allen has been fortunate to work with leading businessmen and women, athletes, celebrities and movie studios. He studied Aviation Management at the University of Oklahoma and Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
J. Philip JordanManaging Director, Tempus Aircraft Sales & Service
Phil Jordan brings over 30 years of aviation expertise to Tempus. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Jordan was the Managing Director of Sales at Business Air, formally Jet Associates, in Denton, Texas. He also served as Executive Vice President at Business Air Management/Center and Director of Sales at Jet Works Air Center. Mr. Jordan is the current Immediate Past Chairman of National Aircraft Resale Association. He is also active with the NBAA, NARA, NAFA, and NATA in various committees. Mr. Jordan has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from The University of North Texas.
Robert C. DynanVice President, Mobile Repair Teams
Mr. Dynan is a 30-year veteran of the aerospace industry with extensive experience in private, commercial, and government aviation. Prior to joining Tempus at its formation in December 2007, Mr. Dynan spent the early stages of his career in various operations management positions at US Airways. Following tenure as President of a commercial cargo airline, he successfully managed an integrated defense contracting company that operated a fleet of heavily modified Learjets. Mr. Dynan is a graduate of Auburn University and the Harvard Business School.
Danny SullivanSenior Advisor
One of the most accomplished professional auto racers of his generation, Danny Sullivan also has a significant record of success in business. He won the Indianapolis 500-as well as 11 other Indy Car races-as part of Team Penske, establishing himself as a champion on the track. As a Senior Advisor at Tempus, Mr. Sullivan provides the same determination and focus to our business as he did in racing, providing Tempus with the competitive edge it needs to be a champion in the corporate aviation industry. Beyond racing, Mr. Sullivan's experiences include numerous business relationships with Lexus, ABC/ESPN, CBS, Red Bull, Acura, and Toyota.
